Նռնենին և թզենին կամեցան սիրով կապվել միմյանց հետ ու երդվեցին քաղցրությամբ,բայց նռնենու թթվության պատճառով ձանձրացավ թզենին, և նրանց դաշինքը խախտվեց։

Ծովի գորտերը

Ծովի գորտերը խորհուրդ անելով՝ ասացին.

— Ինչո՞ւ ենք տռզած փորերով ու դեղնած մաշկով խեղդվում ջրերում, դուրս գանք ցամաք ուապրենք ուրիշների պես։

Ծերերից մեկն ասում է. 

— Հայրս պատվեր է տվել ինձ, որ ծովի ապաստանը չթողնեմ, որովհետև բնությամբ երկչոտենք, գուցե դուրս գանք ու սարսափելով ետ դառնանք և ցույց տանք մեր երկչոտությունը։ 

Չլսեցին խորհուրդը և դուրս ելան, բայց ոտնաձայն լսելով՝ փախան ու կրկինխորասուզվեցին ծովը։

Translate

The frogs of the sea took counsel and said:

— Why are we drowning in water with bloated bellies and yellow skin, let’s go out on land and live like others?

One of the elders says:

— My father ordered me not to leave the shelter of the sea, because we are timid by nature, maybe we will go out and turn back in horror and show our timidity.

They did not listen to the advice and went out, but hearing footsteps, they ran away and dived into the sea again.
